the sons of immigrant or better yet the sons of illegal immigrants

Question, are the sons of illegal immigrants born on American soil really legitmate American citizens.  It depends?  If you stop at the 14th amendment, yes? But if you delve deeper into the constitution it’s to the president the first citizen we must turn to.

dr. Laura racial rant or was it

No one seems to play the race card better than  the liberal media.  Take the hoop la going on about Dr. Laura.  I am not a fan of hers, but listening to the tape it’s apparent to me that she was  courageous enough to speak her real feeling about the double standard that minorities are fighting to institute in this great country of ours.

I am african american and I can say that we use the so called n word or nigga  all the time, we  kill each other, beat each other, steal and abuse one another with immunity all the time.  If a white person hurts a black it make nationl news.   But  if  the ratio of white on black  crimes or racial insults   were compared to black on black crimes  and insults  Americans would not have time  to or the moral right to throw stones while living in a glass house.   It appears to me that pursecution of white people for the crimes of their forefathers by  media, government and religious organizer is big business in this country.

It does nothing to united this countries people.    I guess it like this; there is no profit in thing that don’t break or aren’t broken.  And in like manner there is no profit in a country who’s people stand united.

prop 8 is it a violation of the 14th amendment or the 1st amendment

Today most folk believe or are led to believe that the fight over the constitutonal validity of California’s prop 8 hinges on the equal protection clause of the 14th amendment but in fact it can and is best argued under the seperation of State from church clause of the 1st amendment, in that the vary existences of  the necessity to be licensed by the state inorder to marry came out of the slavery era in this country.  for the most part it was illegal for blacks to marry whites and vice versa up until 1968 ( loving vs the state 0f virginia).  the orgin of licensing marriage which in it orgin is a relgious practice was a violation of the first amendment when the states denied black and white to marry and it was made permanent when the federal gov step in in the loving case 1968.  It appears those who laid the foundation for gay rights to have the legal right to exists today are the very same folks( the church) who stood by and let the govrnments of the states denied other the same rights that they say God granted to a man and a women–heterosexuals.
